VIRTUAL AUDITIONS: TEEN TWO WEEK CAMP
July 19th - July 30th 2021, MON- FRI
The UYA team is BACK and offering a fast paced, two week camp in all things virtual auditions.
The team will hear and coach selections from your book, assign roles and sides based on your skill set and type,
host a series of mock auditions and callbacks complete with individual coaching, feedback, special industry guests and ideas for you to truly upgrade your next audition.
WHAT IT IS:
• A 2 week long camp specifically tailored for ages 13-20
• 4-5 hours a day of rigorous musical theatre and acting coaching
• Classes focus on sides, self tapes, repertoire, acting through song, and more
• Tips and hacks on how to master the digital medium and the “new normal” of our business
• End of camp culminates with a ZOOM performance featuring the students’ work for friends and family
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
This workshop is intended for pre-professional students, ages 13-20. Class size is VERY limited - ONLY 10 PARTICIPANT SLOTS AVAILABLE - but there’s an unlimited number of "audit only" passes that allow you to watch and learn from all the workshops offered.

WHO ARE THE COACHES?
MATT DEANGELIS
ACTOR/COACH
A veteran of over 800 performances of the hit musical Hair including Broadway, The West End, and National Tour playing the role of Woof. He also launched the 1st National Tour of Green Day’s American Idiot and was seen playing multiple instruments in the Tony Award Winning musical Once as Svec. Matt returned to Broadway as Earl in Sara Bareilles’ Waitress followed by a stint on the 1st National Tour. He was most recently seen on stage in NYC in the World Premiere of The Secret Life of Bees at The Atlantic Theatre Company. On TV Matt has been seen on Person of Interest, Madam Secretary, Marvel’s Daredevil, EVIL, For Life, and Chicago PD.
CHRISTINE DWYER
ACTOR/COACH
After graduating with a BFA from The Hartt School, toured the US, Canada, and Japan playing Maureen in the national tour of RENT. She is best known for touring the country and flying into Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked. She has donned the green as Elphaba over 1000 times including the 2014 Tony Awards to celebrate the show’s 10 year anniversary and for President Barack Obama and Chancellor Angela Merkel at the 2016 Hannover Messe in Hannover Germany representing the United States. Christine was recently seen touring the country as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies in Finding Neverland, the Musical. This past April, she was in the NBC Live Jesus Christ Superstar concert, starring Sara Bareilles and John Legend. She was most recently seen leading the 1st National Tour of Waitress as Jenna.
TRAVIS GREISLER
DIRECTOR
Travis Greisler is a New York City-based stage director and writer. He has been a part of the creative teams for several Broadway shows including: The Cher Show (which will launch its 1st National Tour fall ‘21), Tales of the City (with music by the Scissor Sisters), and Fully Committed (starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Other associate director credits include Superhero Off Broadway at Second Stage and original development of The Book of Mormon. Most recently, Travis directed Once at the Bucks County Playhouse to raves in the Wall Street Journal and created The Orion Experience, an immersive rock concert. Selected additional directing credits: Into the Woods (Northwestern & Cap21), Rocky Horror (Yale), Company, Cabaret and various immersive experiences. Travis began his career as a professional actor at the age of nine appearing on Broadway in The Who’s Tommy, Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular and the National Tours of Les Miz and Big. CASTING DIRECTOR/COACH
Currently a casting director at Wojcik/Seay Casting, she works on the Jesus Christ Superstar 50th Anniversary Tour, Rent 20th Anniversary Tour, Kinky Boots for Norwegian Cruise Lines, various developmental works and many regional theaters including seasons at Riverside Theatre (FL), John W. Engeman Theatre (NY), Tuacahn Amphitheatre (UT), Arvada Center for the Arts (CO), Theatre Aspen (CO), Stages St. Louis (MO) and Theatre Raleigh (NC). Previous credits with Eisenberg/Beans Casting include projects for Folger Theatre, Dallas Theatre Center, Broadway in Chicago, Bedlam Theatre Company, Ivoryton Playhouse, various SAG indie features and in 2018 made her Broadway casting debut with Gettin’ The Band Back Together.

ACTOR/COACH
Nik Walker is an actor, cinephile and theme park nerd. Currently leading the Broadway cast of Ain’t Too Proud (after 3 years as Aaron Burr in the Broadway and touring companies of Hamilton), he’s also been seen in Motown the Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, and on TV in Law and Order SVU. A writer and content creator, he is the playwright behind The Bloody Boston Trilogy, cohost of the talk show The Chaos Twins on BroadwayWorld, and his movie podcast, Little Justice, is streaming with the Broadway Podcast Network. @nikkywalksV
